The North Shore Contest is the original event of our association, EDHEC NORTH RACE. It is a Surfing Festival gathering in one weekend 3 competitions: Kitesurf, Stand-Up Paddle and Wakeboard.

This event has two dimensions:
- Sport: We offer quality competitions in collaboration with the federations, clubs and sport schools of the region. We offer interesting prizes and nice prize money for our riders!
- The village : We propose activities, demonstrations and initiations in order to make discover the world of the glide to the visitors.
In short, the North Shore Contest is an original sporting and social event, bringing together enthusiasts, amateurs and novices around a convivial weekend!
This year the North Shore Contest will take place on the weekend of April 22-23, 2017 at Touquet-Paris-Plage.
This year's sponsor is Aurélien Pétreau.
The village is ideally located on the seawall at the southern nautical base of Le Touquet-Paris-Plage.
The vocation of the event is to make discover the world of the glide to the biggest number thanks to a diversified village gathering the various actors of this environment: shapers, artists, clubs of sports, start-ups, stores of sporting goods...
Visitors can also participate in kite, sand yacht, SUP, wakeboard, and kitesurfing initiations.

The format of the event: A Best Line & Best Trick
Last year, we launched the first Wakeboard competition in the heart of the North Shore Contest village on the pools of the Touquet Wake Parc. On the program, an event mixing Best Line and Best Trick: the riders have a round trip to make the most beautiful figure for the Best Line and the best figure is selected at the end of the session for the Best Trick. A great show!
