LEARN THE 180° FRONTSIDE WAKESKATE

We break down once again the learning of wake skate with a new tuto on the 180° frontside!

First and foremost, foot placement is super important.
The front foot is slightly ahead of the nose to anticipate the glide when you are going to switch.

To do this, you have to go step by step, first on the flat, then on the water in a slide, then in an ollie, then on the modules.

Justin shows us 3 variations on how to screw in the 180°:

1: Lift the back hand so your shoulders will rotate and the rotation is done automatically with your hips which will reorient themselves in the axis of sliding.
2: Once you understand the transition from left to right side, leave both hands on the rudder and come to create the rotation with your pelvis.
3: Do the 180° with one hand, same system come to create the rotation with the pelvis.
